About Us
Kindermusik with Lil' Measures began in September of 2007. The owner and licensed educator,
Laura Layne Balassone has been teaching Kindermusik ever since at two daycares in Fishers- The Kids Kastle, Trinity Wesleyan Childcare and has also been teaching from Michele's Studio on Olio Rd where she recently became the Kindermusik program Coordinator.
Laura Layne has primarily been a stay-at-home Mom but she has been singing for years, leading worship for several churches and events such as women's retreats, banquets and parties part-time.
Laura Layne also writes music and loves to perform her original work.
Her love for music and children made it a natural fit to start her Kindermusik business last year.
Laura Layne has been married to her husband Michael for 11 years, they both have a love for music as they sing together often and Michael plays the saxophone and is a Music Major from Houghton Wesleyan College where the two met. Michael and Laura Layne have 4 children that they home-school together, Lylianne-7, Myles-5, Lawson-4 & M.E.-2.
